Gerry Wollert is the System Developer and President of GDW Investment Systems, LLC.

Experience

I have been trading stocks for over forty years, mutual funds for over 25 years, and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) for over ten years. I have had extensive experience with just about every piece of investment software that has become available. 

Over the years many of my friends have asked me to manage money for them. Since I did not want to get involved with managing other people's money, other than the 16 family member portfolios that I already manage, I decided to develop a web site and share my trading systems with other investors.

Investment Philosophy

I have a long term, conservative orientation toward investing. My systems are not designed to be get rich quick schemes. Subscribers should measure their performance over months, quarters and years as opposed to days and weeks. I trade all of the systems on this web site with my own money.

Each of the systems is designed to balance profit opportunity against risk to minimize draw downs. One of the primary goals is to achieve a relatively smooth equity curve with minimal volatility. Ideally, I want to be a "robo-trader" and remove all of the emotion from the trading decisions. My ETF and Mutual Fund systems do not trade frequently and therefore require less than 30 minutes per month to trade. Rebound Rabbits, Rebound Solo, Rebound Mutual Fund Trader, Rebound ETF, and Rebound Stocks, can be auto-traded on behalf of subscribers.

Background

I am a graduate of Purdue University where I put myself through school by playing the trumpet in my own band. I am listed in "Who's Who in America." Prior to retiring, I was the President of Asia / Pacific Operations and a Corporate Vice President for the largest food company in the United States. I have lived in both Australia and Mexico where I was the Managing Director and General Manager for the company. For the last 11 years before retirement, my family and I lived in Honolulu, Hawaii.

During most of my 31 year career, my hobby was investing in the markets with the support of various computer systems. Once I retired, I knew exactly how I wanted to spend my time. I am pleased to now be in a position to share these trading systems with others.
